Evaluation = weigh magnitude, time period and assumptions, then a judgement that answers THE question. "It depends on X, and X is likely because…" gets the marks.
Force a one-line conclusion at the end of every paragraph, not just the essay. Mini-judgements add up.
Mark a couple against the official scheme — you will see the evaluation points are basically a checklist.
