  For 9709 Mathematics, June 2026, the A grade thresholds by paper:

  • Paper 1 (11) — 59/75
  • Paper 2 (21) — 40/50
  • Paper 3 (31) — 56/75
  • Paper 4 (41) — 43/50
  • Paper 5 (50) — 63/75
  • Paper 6 (60) — 63/75

  Full table, including B down to E: 9709 grade boundaries

  One thing worth knowing: these are component thresholds. Your overall grade comes from your total across the papers you sat, not from any single one — so a paper below the A line does not on its own mean you missed the A.
