Post your component codes and raw marks below and we will tell you how far you were from the grade above and below. One mark off is a completely different week from fifteen, and it changes whether a remark is worth the fee.
If you are not sure which code was which paper, post the codes anyway — that is half the questions we get.
A worked example, so the format is clear.
Paper 1 (component 11, out of 75) — A at 59, B at 48.
A raw 57 is 2 marks under the A line and 9 clear of the B.
Worth being straight about one thing: these are component thresholds. Your overall 9709 grade comes from your total across all your components, not from any single paper — so one paper under the A line does not on its own mean you missed the A.
Post your component (e.g. 11) and your raw mark and we will work out your gap both ways.
Paper 1 (13) — I got 60/75.
That clears the B threshold on this component. 1 mark off the A. 8 clear of the B line — 8 more lost and it is a C.
Component threshold only — my overall grade comes from the total across papers.
